Press Association) , AUCKLAND, Jan. 22. • A party of 39 high school ] students from the United i States arrived here today to ( spend the next 11 months .in , New Zealand, under the j American field service ( scholarship scheme. Thirty . are girls. The students were warned , by Miss E. A. M. Roberts, j Auckland secretary of the scheme, not to chew gum at ' their new schools, not to ; drive cars, and to write home 1 regularly. Tomorrow the students . leave for destinations all over New Zealand. They comprise 1 the largest group to come to 1 New Zealand under the 1 scheme There are now 57 New Zea- i land pupils in the United : States under the scheme, which has been functioning : since 1957. ’
