Tug On Way To Tow Frigates
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Jan. 13. The Japanese ocean-going tug Daisy is due at Auckland at noon on Monday to make ready to tow the former Loch class frigates Rotoiti and Kaniere to Hong Kong. Both frigates have been bought by the Hong Kong Roller Mills. They will be towed in tandem to be broken up for scrap. The tug and the frigates are likely to leave Auckland on Wednesday.
