Bankrupt Absent
William Gerald Overton, a baker, of 210 A Waltham road, Christchurch, did not attend a meeting of his creditors on Thursday. The Official Assignee (Mr T. A. F. Withers) said the bankrupt’s absence made him liable to a term of imprisonment. Overton, who was adjudged bankrupt on December 23, has a deficiency of £4288. “I don’t know any reason why he is not present," said Mr Withers. It was decided to call another meeting of creditors on January 19.
