Earthquake On East Coast
(N.Z. Press Association) WAIROA, Dec. 28. A sharp earthquake jolted Wairoa and Gisborne shortly after 5 a.m. today. Stronger than those experienced last week, the earthquake awakened sleepers. It had a pronounced swaying motion of several seconds’ duration. No damage has been reported.
