Spin Bowler’s Success
(N.I. Press Assn.— Coppripht) SYDNEY. J. Gleeson, the New South Wales unorthodox spin bowler, wrecked the Queensland first innings in their Sheffield Shield match at Sydney yesterday. Gleeson, whose delivery has been compared with the former Australian test spinner, J. Iverson, took five wickets for 44 from 26.2 overs as Queensland was dismissed for 171. New South Wales was 10 for one wicket at the dose.
