Woman In Court

A 38-year-old mother of four was among six people who appeared in Court today on charges relating to forged 10 dollar notes.
Mrs Moria Patricia Mutton, of Mount Waverley, was charged with having, at Mount Waverley on December 23, had in her possession forged 10-dollar banknotes knowing them to have been forged, and at Ashburton, nearby, on the
same day having uttered a forged 10-dollar banknote knowing it to have been forged. Mr A. M. Foley, S.M., and a bench of four Justices of the Peace, remanded her to appear in Malvern Court on February 1, 1967. She was released on bail of 200 dollars.
The woman’s husband and four other men also appeared on charges. AU were remanded on bail.
