1967 Triumph 2000
RESTYLED seating, fascia, ■"■“and the inclusion of a fullflow heating and ventilation system will be among the new features of the 1967 Triumph 2000, the sales manager of Standard-Triumph (New Zealand), Ltd. (Mr G. Shaw) has announced. The only external differences will be the provision of rubber inserts in the bumper over-riders and the relocation of the rear badge. The engine will be unchanged. The new ventilation system is based on that in the Triumph 1300, and incorporates fascia fresh-air vents and extractor slots over the rear window. The seats in the 1967 models will be upholstered in leather, which will be perforated to help the material “breathe.”
The seats will be larger than in the previous 2000 model, and will recline fully.
The instruments will now include an electric clock, and the speedometer is slightly repositioned to eliminate reflections.
