PUBLIC NOTICES TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT. 1953. WAIMAIRI COUNTY DISTRICT SCHEME PROPOSED CHANGE No. 5. PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN lh»t pursuant to resolutions of the Waimairi County Council dated November 17, 1966. and December 15, 1966, it has been recommended that the operative district scheme be changed in respect of the matters listed hereunder. The changes of the district scheme as now recommended by ’he Council are deposited in the Council Offices at the corner of Clyde and Jeffreys roads, the Upper Rlccarton Memorial Library and Council’s Receiving Office at 152 Hereford street. Christchurch. Objections to the proposed changes of the district scheme may be made in written notice on Form E prescribed in the schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations, 1960, ior to the like effect marked "Objection to Scheme Change" and lodged at the offices of the Council not later than noon on Wednesday, February 8. 1967. An appropriate form for use by objectors is available at tne Council offices. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or opose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the Hearing of Objection if he notifies the Council in writing within a period of which public notice will be given. Zone reserve off Winters road (at rear of Papanul Swimming Baths) for recreation purposes. HAREWOOD RIDING: Zone site adjacent to the Bishopdale Commercial Zone for Hotel purposes. Delete Commercial A zoning on Lots 3, 4 and 5 D.P. 13546 (290-294 Walrakei road) and Lots 29 and 30, D.P. 18705 281 and 283 Greers road) and rezone Residential A. Designate Lots 82, 83, and 84, D.P. 23894 at the North-east corner of Cotswold avenue and Cardome street as a private school. Zone Lot 25. D.P. 24940 (486 Walrakei road) as a Reserve for recreation purposes. WAIRARAPA RIDING: Zone proposed Industrial zone Walrakei road east of Roydvale avenue and Wooldridges road as Industrial Al. Delete Commercial A zoning on Lots 23, 24, Pt. 25, 38, 39, 40 , 45, 46, 47, 60 and 61 D.P. 15128 (Nos. 293-301. 292-294 Clyde road and Nos. 393-397 and 409-413 Ham road and No. 2 Evatt street) and re-zone Residential A.

Delete Commercial A zoning on Lot 1-5, D.P. 13520 (Noe. 186-192 Yaldhurst road and Nos. 3 and 5 Nortons road) and re-zone Residential A. Delete Commercial A zoning on Lots 1,2, 5, and 6, D.P. 7394 (Nos. 63 and 8 Nortons road and No. 176 and 178 Yaldhurst road) and re-zone Residential B. Designate Education Board land in Waimairi road for Teachers' Training College purposes and underlying zoning as Residential B. Delete Industrial A zoning on Lot 2 and Pt. Lot 9 D.P. 21464 in Russley road adjacent to the Milk Company and re-zona Residential A. Include the reading pattern between Athol terrace, Solway avenue and Avonhead road.

FENDALTON RIDING: Designate University land Lot 7, D.P. 11390 ip Kirkwood avenue and Lot 1, D.P. 10217 in Clyde road as lend for University Purposes and underlying zoning as Residential B. Delete the Commercial A zoning on Lots 6,9, 10, 11 and 12 D.P. 14361 (No. 245 Clyde road and Nos. 356-362 Ham road) at the south-west corner of Clyde and Ham road and re-zone Residential A. Delete the Commercial A zoning on Lots 1,2, 3 and 4 D.P. 23933 (No. 370 and 372 11am road) at the south-east corner of Clyde and Ham roads and re-zone Lots 1-5, D.P. 23933, Pt. Lot 1 D.P 12653 and the land in C.T 367/269 as a Commercial Al zone to be a special development area to be developed in accordance with a development plan relating to the area and deposited at the CouncH Office. Delete Commercial A zoning on Lots 10, 11, 12 and 13, D.P. 12616 (No. 128-134 Ham road) between Creyke road and Montana avenue and re-zone Residential A.
