Official Dies

WELLINGTON.
A former deputy-Mayor of Wellington and a prominent Wellington and national soccer administrator, Mr W. J. Arcus, aged 58, died in Wellington Hospital yesterday. In earlier years a soccer player and referee, Mr Arcus was for 16 years secretary of the Wellington Football Association and for eight years secretary of the New Zealand Football Association.
