To Head New Institute
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, December 9. Mr J. S. Horrax will be the first director of the newly-formed Consumers’ Institute. This was announced by the Consumers’ Council today. Mr Horrax, who will begin his appointment in April when the Consumer Council Act comes into force, served in a number of Government departments before becoming an officer of the Department of Industries and Commerce.
More senior appointments to the Consumers’ Institute will be announced shortly.
