(Inc.) for an increase in cartage rates in rural areas and towns, the Commissioner of Transport has cancelled Decison Nos. 2220 and 2221, which authorised increases of 3 p.c. and 2i p.c. respectively on rural area and town cartage rate schedules, and granted in lieu thereof an increase of 4 p.c. The full decision, which has immediate effect, may be inspected at the Transport Department, Auckland, Hamilton, Napier, New Plymouth, Wellington, Christchurch. Dunedin, Whangarel, Rotorua, Tauranga, Wanganui, Gisborne, Palmerston North, Masterton, Nelson, Blenheim, Greymouth, Westport, Timaru, and Invercargill.
