TOURISTS IN CRICKET XI
Two members of the New Zealand women’s cricket team which toured England earlier this year, P. Moore and J. Stead, are included in the Canterbury XI to take part in the Hallyburton-Johnstone Shield tournament at Dunedin from December 26 to January 8. Four players, L. Ashby, M. McGinity, S. Rattray and M. Taylor, have been selected for the first time. The team is.—A. McKenna, A. Malins, J. Olson, Ashby, McGinity, Moore, Rattray, Stead, Taylor, J. Watson, K. Wilkinson, O. Williams and J. Wilson. The manageress will be Miss J. Goddard.
