Manager For Juniors
The well-known Christchurch swimming administrator, Mr D. W. Cain, has been nominated by the Canterbury and Auckland centres for the position of manager of the New Zealand junior team to compete in the Australian championships in January.
Mr Cain would be well suited to the post, for he has been extremely active in the field of junior swimming; he has been a major force in the promotion of the teleprinter age group competitions and the Wharenui Junior Olympics. As a member of the N.Z.A.S.A. council, his appointment would be of great benefit to the national administration.
