Kosygin Cheered
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) PARIS, Dec. 5. Parisians yesterday cheered the Soviet Prime Minister, Mr Kosygin, as he visited the Cathedral of Notre Dame during a sight-seeing tour of the French capital. Believed to be the first Soviet leader to visit a Roman Catholic church in France, he walked through the vast Gothic arches of Notre Dame to the central nave, admiring the centuries-old stained glass windows.
Mr Kosygin, who arrived in Paris last Thursday on an eight-day official visit to France, spent nearly half an hour in the 900-year-old cathedral.
