Prince To Study At Cambridge
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) LONDON, December 5. Prince Charles will go to Cambridge University next year, and could also attend a Commonwealth University as part of his future education.
Buckingham Palace announced that the Prince would enter Cambridge next October.
Later, the Duke of Edinburgh in a special interview, said a period of time at a Commonwealth or other overseas university was “obviously a possibility.” But he stressed that there were no immediate plans for this. He also said the Prince could spend some time in one of the three services—or all three. Prince Charles, who became
18 last month, is at present studying at his Scottish school of Gordonstoun, after spending two terms at Geelong Grammar’s Timbertop bushland annex in Victoria, where he was an exchange pupil. He will primarily study history during his time at Cambridge’s Trinity College.
