On Valuers’ Board
Mr M. B. Cooke, senior lecturer in rural valuation and farm management at Lincoln College, has been appointed to the Valuers’ Registration Board for a three-year term beginning on January 1, 1967. The appointment has been made by the Minister of Valuation under the Valuers’ Registration Act, 1948.
A former president of the New Zealand Institute of Valuers, Mr Cooke has been lecturing in valuation since 1950 and has been actively engaged in valuation since 1936. Mr Cooke has been appointed in place of Mr A. H. Flay, a former associate professor and head of the farm management and rural valuation department at Lincoln College, who is at present in South America.
