We require technicians with at least five years’ recent experience in skilled work on radio, radar, or similar electronic work. As well as experience in radio communications work they should also have worked on either radar, line communications, or ground-based aeronautical aids. The commencing salary is up to £1155 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience, with further advancement on merit. Housing is provided overseas, and it is also available at some New Zealand locations. Those appointed are eligible to join the Government Superannuation Fund and the Public Service Welfare Society.
