Work On Spiders
Volume one of the first major work on New Zealand spiders, by Dr. R. R. Forster, director of the Otago Museum, will be published early next year. Dr. Forster, who expects the work will be five volumes, has been studying New Zealand spiders for about 20 years. He recently received support from the National Institutes of Health of the United States and the Golden Kiwi lottery fund. The first volume will be published by the Otago Museum from its Colquhoun fund.
