December 5 LADIES’ SCHOOL—Mrs T. S. Mannering proposes (D.V.) to open a ladies’ school at Femsidehouse, five miles from Rangiora, immediately after the Christmas holidays. The course of Instruction will be that of a superior English education, including music, French, drawing, singing &c., &c. The situation is bracing and remarkably healthy; is >n the neighbourhood of a church, and within easy reach of medical aid.
