The Secret
Hadji Khodagholi Agfa is the champion jockey of Iraq once again. He is very small with a goatee beard and is said to be descendant of Genghis Khan. Sometimes he has to be lowered into his saddle, which is not too surprising as he is 65 years old. Some say he is 90—he has not got a birth certificate. After each season he usually takes a new teen-age bride. “That is the secret of my youth and strength,” he says.
First Meeting For Two Years (N.Z. Press Association) WOODVILLE. There was a large crowd at Woodville yesterday for the first race meeting on the course since May, 1964. The course has been closed during the last two years for the building of a £135,000 grandstand.
