LEAVING KNOX
The Very Rev. M. W. Wilson will conclude a 15-year ministry at Knox Church next Sunday. Mr Wilson was accorded a congregational farewell function last night. On Sunday he will conduct his last services as minister of Knox Church. He will be inducted as minister of the Sefton Presbyterian Church on December 20.
Mr Wilson, who is president of the National Council of Churches, said that during his time in Christchurch he had been impressed by the fine relations among the churches. This he attributed to a good pattern of relations established years ago by such people as Bishop West-Wat-son.
Of his ministry at Knox Church he said he had particularly enjoyed the opportunity to work among students.
