Supreme Court £6914 Claim Settled
A claim for £6914 accident damages, set down for hearing in the Supreme Court yesterday afternoon, was settled out of court, and jurors waiting to try the case were dismissed until this morning, when a suit for £3500 damages, against Truth (N.Z.), Ltd., alleging defamation, will be heard.
The parties in the claim set down yesterday, which arose from a motor accident in Opawa road in February, 1963, were Robert Horton Young, an electrician (Mr R. L. Kerr), as plaintiff, and Thomas Basil Gillard, a company manager (Mr R. A. Young), 6s defendant.
