China’s friendship with Albania is eternal and indestructible, the Communist Party leader, Mao Tse-tung, has assured its tiny ally in East Europe, Peking Radio reported today. In a message marking the 22nd anniversary of its “liberation,” Mao described Albania as a powerful bastion against imperialism and modern revisionism, and said its people had cemented with China a profound revolutionary friendship. The message was addressed to Mr Enver Hoxha.
