Cancellation By Calwell
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) CANBERRA, Nov. 29. The Leader of the Federal Opposition, Mr Arthur Calwell, cancelled a luncheon address at the National Press Club in Canberra today. Officials of the club were advised of Mr Calwell’s decision today by his press secretary, Mr J. Maher. Mr Maher said that Mr Calwell, in Melbourne, was busy preparing for a Federal executive meeting next week and did not want to make two trips to Canberra in such a short time.
