Four Properties Sold At Auction

A modern weatherboard bungalow at 61 Ngaio street, St. Martins, was sold for £3525 at public auction on Wednesday. The property was offered on account of the estate of Jenny Marryatt by George Anderson and Son. The auctioneer was Mr J.

Dyer. The house, on a section of 37 perches, has two bedrooms, lounge, hall, kitchenette, and bathroom. Outbuildings include a garage, and a woodshed. The Government valuation is £3500. A weatherboard house at 30 Avonside drive, Avonside, was sold for £2900. The house was offered on account of the estate of E. Johnston by Mr Ray Simes. Built on a section at the corner of Avonside drive and Hamner street, the house has three bedrooms, lounge, din-ing-room, kitchen, bathroom, and laundry. There is also a garage on the section of 22 perches, zoned Residential B. The Government valuation is £2325.

The initial bid was £2400. These were three bids of £IOO, and four of £SO. A Sydenham house at 24 Barrie street was sold for £IBSO. The house was offered on account of the estate of Johanna Ramsey by Mr A. E. Barrell.

The weatherboard house has three bedrooms, lounge, living-room, kitchenette, bathroom, and laundry. There is also a garage on the section of 16.2 perches. The rates are £l9 8s 8d and the Government valuation is £1575.
