WOUNDED BY SHOT-GUN
When a double-barrelled shot-gun held by his 10-year old brother discharged, Brian Robert Cooke, aged nine, suffered wounds to his left elbow at his home, 29 Marion street, Hoon Hay, about 7.15 a.m. yesterday. He was admitted to Christchurch Hospital and then transferred to Burwood Hospital for surgery. His condition last evening was reported to be fairly satisfactory.
