Burglar Sent To Gaol

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Nov. 23.

A 22-year-old New Plymouth fisherman, described by his counsel as “coming from an exceptional family” was today gaoled for nine months by Mr A. A. Coates, S.M., on seven charges of burglary. Andrew Terry Gale admitted all the charges when he appeared last week, with two former policemen, Noel Richard Johnson, aged 22, and Gavin James Forrest, aged 21.

Johnson and Forrest were remanded until tomorrow for sentence.

Disney Has Operation.— Walt Disney, the world famous creator of cartoc films, has had an operation for removal of part of his left lung. He is expected to be back at work in four to six weeks. — Burbank, November 23.
