Five Acres At Waimairi
A block of five acres eight perches of land in Waimairi road, Fendalton, was passed in at £33,000 at public auction yesterday. The land was offered by Ford and Hadfield Ltd., acting in conjunction with N. H. McCrostie and Company, on account of Mr H. Vale. The auctioneer was Mr Denys Chapman. A subdivisional scheme plan prepared by J. L. Davis, Son, Ogilvie, and Associates allows for 26 building sites. The opening bid was £32,000. There were two bids of £5OO.
More than 40 persons attended the sale.
