Hawley Wins Rifle Shoot
The Christchurch Rifle Club fired its second three-range competition at Tai Tapu. Conditions were two sighters and seven counters at 300, 500 and 600 yards.
The match was won by K. Hawley who also took the prize for top score off the rifle. Leading scores:—K. Hawley. 300 yards, 34: 500 yards. 33: 600 yards, 33; handicap, 2; total, 102. D. McKenzie, 33, 34, 32. 2; 101. W. Doak. 33, 34, 28, 6: 101. J. Walter. 31, 33. 33, 3; 100. H. Wakefield. 30. 33. 30. 7; 100.
