Choir Gives Recital
The Mother’s Union choir at St Stephen’s Church, Shirley, gave a recital of sacred music for parishioners and friends on Sunday evening.
The programme included choir items, solos, duets and sextets. A woodwind orchestra of children and choir members delighted the audience with their performance of two hymns. The ehoir was led by Mrs J. Parr.
