Indonesia’s Debts
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) DJAKARTA, Nov. 22. Russia hag asked Indonesia to settle immediately its huge debts owing to Moscow. Disclosing this last night, the Foreign Minister, Mr Adam Malik, said the Russians submitted their demand to him during his visit to Moscow last month. The Russians presented their demand for immediate payments, and read out a detailed .list of Indonesia’s debts and the time limits they were prepared to allow. They complained that Indonesia had never paid instalments or even the interest on the debts, Mr Malik said.
