STOP-WORK MEETING

Men At West Arm

A stop-work meeting of more than 500 workers will be held at the West Arm underground powerhouse today to discuss issues in industrial dispute. The meeting is a regular quarterly one allowed under the terms of the agreement The executive of the combined unions considers the meeting necessary to enable the workers to express their views. The executive feels that where men are crowded into a confined isolated area, the stop-work meetings act as a safety valve. Any decisions made at the stop-work meeting concerning the public will be communicated by the appropriate representatives, through the newspapers.
