Thefts From Premises
The sum of £47 6s 8d was stolen when the premises of B. R. Homersham, Ltd., 126 Victoria street, were broken into on Monday night. A door at the rear was forced open with a pinch-bar. The same method was used to break into the premises of H. I. Dimmock, Ltd., next door, and £29 15s 2d was stolen. Padlocks on the door of the Antigua Boatshed Milk Bar were smashed and cash, sweets, and cigarettes, worth £27, were stolen. The theft of a beer keg, valued at £ll, from a house in Durham street was reported to the police yesterday.
