House Passed In At £8250
A house, converted into two self-contained flats at 38 Hereford street, was passed in at £8250 at public auction on Monday. The property tvas offered on account of the estate of F. M. Kilian by Gibbon and Middleton, Ltd. The auctioneer was Mr T.' H. Gibbon.
Flat 1 has a sitting-room, dining area, two double bedrooms, kitchen, and bathroom. Flat 2 contains a sitting-room, single bedroom, kitchen, pantry, and bathroom.
Outbuildings on the section of 18.8 perches, zoned residential C, include a brick garage. laundry, and toolshed. The Government valuation is £5250 and the rates are £92.
After opening the bidding at £7OOO. Mr Gibbon took three bids of £250. one of £2OO, two of £lOO, and two of £5O.
