INVERCARGILL.
Manners looks capable of giving a repeat performance in the Medallist Handicap, the main event and first leg of the T.A.B. double on the second day of the Southland Racing Club’s spring meeting at Invercargill tomorrow.
A fresh runner. Middy,! looks like coping with the i sprinters in the second leg. the Agfa Rapid Sprint. There has been heavy rain since the 1 first day’s racing but, apart from a few patches, the track is still firm. Manners was most impres-i tive in winning the Booths! Gin Handicap on the first day j and looks improved for the l race. At one stage on Saturday his part owner-trainer, W. F.
