Florence Film
Italy’s leading opera and film producer, Franco Zeffirelli, is making a documentary film on flood-ravaged Florence to support the world appeal for funds to restore the city’s damaged art treasures. Richard Burton will be the narrator for the Englishspeaking version of the film. Others taking part in the appeal include the conductor, Leonard Bernstein, and the writers. Edward Albee and John Steinbeck. SO THEY SAY A play is fiction—and fiction is fact distorted into truth—Edward Albee.
