Canada Seeks Immigrants

Canada is negotiating for an immigration office in Poland and will try for similar facilities in other East European countries, the Immigration Minister, Mr Jean Marchand, told the SenateCommons immigration committee yesterday. He was replying to a series of questions about relatives of immigrant Canadians, who wanted to come to Canada but could not do so because facilities were not available.
