Fire Not Playing
(N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON. J. J. Sullivan, the Australian professional who was runner-up to S. Jones last year, has withdrawn from the Wattle’s 1500 golf tournament at Bridge Pa today and Tuesday. Three other professionals, M. Wolveridge (Russley), J. Patterton (Tauranga) and S. Peach (West Australia), and an amateur, B. Raffety (Auckland) have also withdrawn. However, P. Williams, another Australian professional whose entry went astray, has been included in the field which now numbers 48 professionals and 30 amateurs.
