NEW SPRINT RIVALRY.—Former New Zealand 220 yards champion, Miss L. Harrell (left), and her Technical club-mate, Miss B. Poulsen, crossing the finishing line at the end of an inter-club 75 yards sprint at Rugby Park last Saturday. The judges' decision went in favour of Miss Poulsen although both athletes were credited with 9.2 sec. The rivalry which has developed between these two fine athletes has been one of the features of the local athletics scene so far this season.
