Applicants should have a Science Degree with Physics as a major subject or appropriate Mathematical or Electrical Engineering qualifications with demonstrating experience and preferably some teaching experience. The appointee will be required to assist the lecturing staff in the supervision of teaching laboratories, particularly Physics 1, to conduct laboratory and tutorial classes and generally to assist in the teaching, examining and other work of the Department. Facilities for research to proceed towards a higher degree are available and preference will be given to an applicant with this intention.
