MELBOURNE CANON
Christchurch Visit Dr. Leon Morris, principal of Ridley Theological College, Melbourne and canon of Melbourne Cathedral, will visit Christchurch on Tuesday at the invitation of the Christchurch branch of the Evangelical Churchmen’s Fellow-' ship. On Tuesday evening he will address a public rally at St. John’s Anglican Church, Latimer square. His address is titled “New Church, Old World,” and includes discussion on whether the orthodox Christian faith needs radical revision, and whether traditional sex morality needs to be thrown out. On Wednesday Dr. Morris will attend a gathering of ministers of all denominations at St. John’s before leaving for Australia. Dr. Morris was formerly warden of Tyndale House, Cambridge, England. His books include, “Apostolic Preaching of the Cross.” “Lord From Heaven.” and “Abolition of Religion.”
