SOUTHBRIDGE TELEPHONE EXCHANGE THE SOUTHBRIDGE Automatic Telephone Exchange will be cut over on Friday, November 18, 1966, at a ceremony commencing at 2 p.m. in the Southbridge Town Hall. All interested are cordially invited to attend. 8856 POST OFFICE NEW AUTOMATIC TELEPHONE EXCHANGE, SOUTHBRIDGE THE NEW AUTOMATIC telephone exchange will be brought into service at 2.30 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 1966. All existing and new subscribers who will be served by the new exchange will receive a copy of a local directory prior to the cutover. Subscribers should use their automatic telephones from 2.30 p.m. on the day of the opening. Those who have a switch installed should operate it at 2.30 p.m. or before leaving, if they will be absent at the time. Also, subscribers must remember to lift the telephone handset before dialling the required numbers. IMPORTANT: All subscribers are asked to cooperate by limiting telephone calls between 2.15 p.m. and 2.45 p.m. on November 18, to those of an urgent nature. 8856
