P.M. Gives Aid After Crash

HAMILTON, November 11. The Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) assisted two nuns this morning after their car skidded on loose metal and went into a ditch near Tokoroa.
He said they appeared to be dazed by the crash. One nun’s face was bleeding, and the other had hurt her arm.
Mr Holyoake assisted the women from their car and took them to a doctor. Those involved in the accident are Sister Mary Catherine and Sister Mary Stephen, and Mrs J. Gunn, of Titinangi, and two daughters.
