Rembrandt Found

A Rembrandt engraving worth about £2OOO has been found at Orakei, Auckland.
Mr A. Opie, an art appraiser from Sotheby's, in London, describes it as an "important find.”
Although it is small, it is good and will be taken to London to be sold.
The subject is a group of houses.
The Rembrandt was bought in New Zealand for a few pounds. It belongs to Mr E. Underwood. of Orakei.
Although it was shown to several authorities in New Zealand none, other than Mr Opie. had been able to vouch for its authenticity.
