JOHNSON ANXIOUS
(N.Z.P.A. -Reuter—Copyright) SAN ANTONIO (Texas).
November 7. President Johnson, anxious to get his operation over as soon as possible, will enter hospital in San Antonio today for preparatory tests. He advanced the operation date to some time later this week because, he said, "there is a kind of curtain banging over you, not knowing what is in your throat.” The operation is for a polyp, a small growth in his throat, which is almost always non-malignant. Surgeons will also correct a small hernia which developed after the President’s bladder operation a year ago. Mr Johnson will fly from his ranch to the Army hospital in San Antonio for X-ray and laboratory tests, supervised by his personal physician, Dr. George Burkley.
