Week-End Injuries
Motor-Cyclist Injured.—A boy, Keith Brian Greenwood, of 42 Torquay place, suffered leg injuries when his motorcycle and a car collided at the corner of Gardiners and Claridges roads about 2.25 p.m. on Saturday. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital. His condition was reported last evening to be fairly comfortable. Collision.—Head and leg injuries were suffered by Thomas Edward Whale, of 53A Memorial avenue when a motor-cycle and a car collided in Ferry road about 6.22 p.m. on Saturday. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital. Car Hits Pole.—Spencer Maher, of 8 Roberts road, was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital suffering from head, chest, internal and leg injuries after a car struck a pole at the corner of Yaldhurst and Russley roads about 6.30 p.m. on Saturday. Leg Injuries.—When two cars collided at the corner of Hume and Gilbert streets about 9.50 a.m. yesterday John Gilbert Butler, of 335 Eastern terrace, suffered leg injuries. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital.
