Traffic Plan

Sir, —In support of “K.G.N.,” one would suggest that this city is by no means so lavishly endowed with residential and non-commercial areas of dignity and architectural merit that it can afford to see Park terrace and Rolleston avenue converted, or perverted, to a less aesthetic purpose. Anyway, the adoption of these streets as a main traffic route would probably mean just another stream of cars, mostly containing no more than a single passenger —about as uneconomical a use of road space as could possibly be devised.—Yours, etc., M.T. November 4, 1966.
