I Met The Half Man, Half Woman
When I was invited to the show to see a newly arrived Australian sideshow, I did. And I must say it is the best family show I’ve seen in years.
The show is Anna John Lee, world-famous half man, half woman, already a top-line attraction in many countries. Anna John was brought to Australia to appear at the Sydney Royal Show and was afterwards offered a contract to tour with Miss Sortie. So, at the show I met Anna John Lee. I spoke to Anna, a glamorous woman, known as the better half of this unusual duo. Anna answered my questions in a definite female voice, while standing in a sideon position. I was convinced this is a woman. My opinion changed completely when Anna introduced me to the other half, John, turning to the other side while doing so. Here was a man speaking to me in a deep, male voice. How could this be so? One side a perfect male, the other a perfect female. I asked both the Anna and the John side many questions, and to sum up I left the tent baffled and uncertain, “was he a she,” or “was she a he?” I still don’t know. In conclusion I say if you don't see Anna John Lee at the show, you will miss one of the most outstanding and genuine attractions ever brought to Christchurch. —Advt
