Quotations improve (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 4. Trading on Smithfield Market, London, proceeded steadily throughout this week, reports the market information service of the New Zealand Meat Producers Board. Trading for light pitchings of New Zealand lamb carried a firmer undertone with some slightly improved quotations. Quotations for the main grade (prime 29/361b) were unchanged from last week. New Zealand hoggets and wethers sold slowly with the main grade of hoggets (49/56 lb) quoted at 15jd to 16d per lb and wethers at 15d to 15|d per lb. Ewes and New Zealand beef, were not quoted.
