N.Z. Reserves Ease Further
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 4. Net overseas assets of the New Zealand banking system were £59.2m on October 26 compared with £60.2m on October 19 and £51.3m on October 27 last year. These figures were announced by the Reserve Bank today.
Mutual Benefit Par Issue . The directors of Mutual Benefit Building and Investment Society of Canterbury (Permanent), have declared a final dividend of six per cent, plus bonus two per cent, making 12 per cent for the year. It will be payable on November 15, ex dividend November 10. An issue of 64,890 shares of 10s at par in the proportion of one-for-three is intended. Shares will be ex rights on November 11.
